Many fans of Jujutsu Kaisen think that Gojo Satoru is the strongest character in the show. But should the title not go to someone else?
Gojo is undoubtedly a beast.
Gojo Satoru is one of the most interesting people in Jujutsu Kaisen. The character with white hair has proven to be a powerful Jujutsu sorcerer, able to beat the most powerful curses and Jujutsu sorcerers. Gojo has repeatedly shown that he is a skilled fighter in many exciting fights in both the anime and the manga.
Gojo is the most famous person in the world of sorcery and cursed spirits, thanks to his “Limitless” and “Six Eyes” techniques. His most powerful ability, “Unlimited Void” Domain Expansion, shocked fans when it first showed up in chapter 15 of the manga (episode 6 of the anime). It showed fans what he is really capable of. Even though Gojo is powerful, other characters in the series can match him in power, either now or in the future. So let’s talk about three of these great characters.
Yuta Okkotsu’s Rika & His Immense Cursed Energy?
The main character of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Yuta Okkotsu, left a lasting impression on fans with his powerful and cursed moves. The most notable thing about Okkotsu is his massive amount of cursed energy. For a normal Jujutsu sorcerer, cursed energy is their lifeline because it powers their techniques to eliminate cursed spirits.
Because of this, having a lot of this cursed energy is a good thing. You can use cursed techniques without worrying about getting hurt if you have an endless supply of cursed energy. So far, Yuta Okkotsu has more cursed energy than any other character in the series, even more than the legendary Gojo.
This lets him easily use powerful cursed techniques, especially the well-known reverse cursed technique. The reverse cursed technique lets Yuta heal himself during or after a tough fight. This makes him more durable.
Yuta has Rika, a powerful cursed spirit known as the “Queen of Curses.” She adds to his already impressive set of magic skills. Like her contractor Yuta, Rika has a huge amount of cursed energy. Even Gojo Satoru told Yuta that he shouldn’t let out the scary cursed spirit unless he knew how to control Rika with his sword. Suguru Geto, one of the best sorcerers who knew how to control spirits, also couldn’t control Rika. After failing, he said that once Yuta has full control over Rika, his power will skyrocket, making him a threat to the whole world if he turns evil. Even when Yuta isn’t around, Rika’s instincts are to protect Yuta. On a normal day, this makes Rika a dangerous bodyguard for the sorcerer.
Yuta Okkotsu is in his second year as a sorcerer, which means he still has a lot of room to grow. So, it’s not out of the question that the young sorcerer will soon be better than Gojo since he has many potential and cursed energy.
Megumi Fushiguro & His Boundless Talent?
You may have seen some of Megumi’s sorcerer skills in the anime. Even in the first few episodes, the demon-god Sukuna could see that Megumi was good at what she did. The first thing that stands out about the character is his Ten Shadows skill, which he uses instead of seals, which is the usual way to call up shadows. Even Gojo Satoru remarked that Megumi could surpass him as a jujutsu sorcerer. In episode 23 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Megumi made a Domain Expansion that wasn’t finished, but he was still able to beat Finger Bearer, a special-grade curse, which was an impressive feat for a first-year. In the manga, however, the true power of his domain expansion became known among curses and sorcerers. Using the Ten Shadows technique, he could make a copy of himself and attack simultaneously.
Megumi surprised readers again when he called up the strongest Shikigami in the Ten Shadows technique, the Eight-Handed Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga. No one who knows Ten Shadows has ever been able to control this monster, so just being able to call it is a big deal. After using Domain Expansion several times, Sukuna could kill the cursed spirit that was always changing. This showed how strong the cursed spirit was. On more than one occasion, Sukuna could have killed Megumi without much trouble. But he never kills him because he knows Megumi has a lot of potentials.
From what he knows about Sukuna, he wants to fight a battle that he would enjoy, and he thinks that Megumi would give him that. This means that Megumi’s best moment as a sorcerer would be on par with or even better than Gojo Satoru’s.

Since Sukuna is the main bad guy in the series, it makes sense that his “hax” as a character would be huge. With just a few fingers, people could get a sneak peek at what the characters could do. Even though Sukuna was supposed to be in a weak state, he was able to use his Malevolent Shrine Domain Expansion to get rid of a powerful special-grade curse. In the manga right now, Sukuna has power from 15 fingers, and he used a powerful Domain Expansion to show off his power when he fought Jogo, a Special-grade curse. It wasn’t even a battle; it was more like a circus, which made Sukuna laugh. He did quick work of Jogo and beat Divine General Mahoraga, the most vital member of the Zen’in clan.
People have said that Sukuna’s Domain Expansion is a “divine technique.” Unlike most Domain Expansions, this one happens in real life and reaches its peak with the “Binding Vow,” which ensures it works within a 200-meter radius. Most fan debates and fights have been about Sukuna having 20 fingers. People have called the character “the Honored One,” which means he is as unique as the special-grade sorcerer Gojo. In Shibuya Arc, Sukuna destroyed a city even though she only had 15 fingers. So, if we use a standard estimate, it is safe to say that Sukuna will be stronger than Gojo when he has 20 fingers. Even though Gojo is stronger, that doesn’t mean he will always win a fight. It gives him an advantage over even the “strongest sorcerer.”
